Public access to the East Dock and southern breakwater sadly ended on 8th February, widely described as a black day in the history of Burntisland, with the closure of the gates. Such is the strength and depth of opposition in the community that it’s come as a surprise to nobody that six days later a section of fence across the breakwater has been removed by person or persons unknown.
